Light as a Character - Water, Reflection and Light

In this project our goal was to use light as the main character within our photographs. For each photo I wanted to use water and reflection in order to evoke light as the main character within the photos. The first photo I used the reflection of the building on the water to create two halves of the picture creating a symmetrical picture. I also did this with the second picture. The third picture was a reflection off of a bench which I then flipped creating an abstract reflection off of the bench. The next photo I used the reflection off of the water droplets to really drag the attention of the viewer to the reflection in the three water droplets. I also used water droplets to bring out light as a character in the next three photos. I in almost all of my pictures used depth of field to grab the attention of the viewer to the object that I wanted to be the main part of the photo. I also got fairly close to the object that I was taking a picture of to accomplish the same goal as using depth of field. I was really happy with how all of these photos turned out!
